I’ve written about Panoramio before. Though it is now owned by google, it often has better photos than google images itself. It won’t turn up anything for celebrity photos, or cutesy kitties though – this is simply for travel photos, and images of the world. So – If you’re an escapist and need help plotting your next breakout point via photos, or just want to freshen up the black 12×12 square that you stare at for 7.5 hours a day, this site is still for you..
I ended up at Panoramio again this morning when my desktop photo was lacking. As it’s freezing outside in New England, I’ve caught myself thinking of one of my favorite places nestled inside of my heart: The lovely Jensen Beach, located a stone’s throw from my grandfather’s house in Port Saint Lucie, FL. A quick google images search was embarrassing – try it for yourself. An even quicker Panoramio search was stunning and granted me this:
*Sigh* I love Panoramio, and I ache to be on this beach again ASAP.
