Fresh off her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, non stop TV commercials, and the heavily rotated single “Brooklyn Go Hard” … Miss Santi White has just released her North American spring tour dates. She has announced that this will be her final tour before she heads back to the studio to record her sophomore album. (Hurry up already, I need more Santi Jams.) Rumor has it she will be performing with a full band and dancers, along with Trouble Andrew, and with MISS AMANDA BLANK opening up for her. These are just the Spring tour dates for now, apparently there will be fall ones coming soon. What really matters is that AMANDA is getting some proper tour time. I have been telling everyone about this girl for YEARS. I got to talk with her at Rock the Bells this summer and the girl is a gem. Her album (when it FINALLY DROPS) will be the truth, how can it not be? It’s produced by XXXChange, Diplo, and Dave Sitek, and she’s Spank Rock’s BFF.
I’m excited that I can catch Santi on this tour leg since I missed her twice last time around when I was in Mexico and Greece. Now I can see her AND my girl TWICE when they hit the northeast. Not mad at that, at all.
